• Tackle complex engineering problems using contemporary principles, algorithms, technologies, methodologies, and tools.
• Demonstrate an understanding of physiological, psychological, and social changes associated with aging and the knowledge of the various theories related to aging and technology.
• Understand the data mining process and perform analysis using contemporary data mining tools, including the application of machine learning algorithms and techniques to develop devices/systems for specific needs.
• Perform system design and development using an integrated approach by synthesizing design concepts, conducting risk assessments, and examining interactions encountered in the optimal design, development, manufacture, and test of healthcare engineering systems.
